This 12-week course provides students with an introduction to media production and audio engineering. Students will explore recording techniques, digital audio workstations (DAWs), mixing, mastering, and more. By the end of the course, students will have developed a portfolio of media projects, including an original song or audio advertisement, a podcast episode, and a DJ mix or audio compilation. Learning Objectives: ● Gain a foundational understanding of audio recording and production. ● Develop skills in using digital audio workstations and recording equipment. ● Learn advanced techniques in mixing, mastering, and audio processing. ● Create and present media projects that demonstrate learned skills.
